As a Tutorial Fellow in Clinical Medicine at Zetech University, you will be expected to deliver high-quality instruction, participate in curriculum development, and conduct impactful research. This role involves lecturing, mentoring students, and collaborating with academic colleagues to enhance the university's academic standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan, and deliver a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and practicals.
Review course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and the development of research activities.
Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancies.
Present research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events.
Disseminate research outputs.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
Registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification and progressing.
A Master of Science qualification in Clinical Medicine from an accredited University.
A Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Medicine from an accredited University.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
