The Tupande Macadamia & Dried Fruit Logistic Coordinator plays a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing the aggregation and delivery of Macadamia and dried fruit products. This role ensures high quality, strict regulatory compliance, and efficient movement of goods across the supply chain. You will be an integral part of the LOG Soko Team, reporting directly to the Macadamia & Dried Fruit Specialist. This is an onsite, fixed-term role based in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection of raw fruit from farm gates and buying centers.
- Liaise with farmers, suppliers, and field teams to ensure volumes align with production targets.
- Take charge of scheduling and tracking inbound deliveries to drying or processing facilities.
- Work closely with processing teams to ensure drying, sorting, grading, and packaging follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor product quality at every stage to meet food safety and buyer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and export compliance standards.
- Plan and oversee the dispatch of finished goods to warehouses, customers, or export points.
- Track transport and storage conditions to maintain product freshness and integrity.
- Prepare and share daily and weekly reports on processed volumes, losses, rejects, and shipments.
- Keep procurement, logistics, finance, and sales teams informed on progress and challenges.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve operational risks or bottlenecks to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications
Across all roles, general qualifications are sought. Specifically for this role, you must have:
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Transport Management Systems and tracking tools.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to manage several stakeholders and prioritise project management.
- Capacity to support decision making with data.
- Focus on viewing cost reduction and performance tracking in their job role.
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) qualification.
