Job Description
Stellar Human Resource Solutions is looking for a Tour Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing safari itineraries, preparing quotations, and providing expert travel advice to clients focusing on East African destinations.
Responsibilities
Design comprehensive safari itineraries tailored to client preferences.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for travel packages.
Consult with clients regarding travel destinations, including Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Utilize travel booking systems to manage reservations.
Handle sales inquiries and apply negotiation skills to close bookings.
Maintain high standards of communication and customer service throughout the booking process.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a travel or safari company.
Strong knowledge of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda safari destinations.
Demonstrated ability to design safari itineraries and prepare quotations.
Strong sales, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience with travel booking systems is an added advantage.
