Overview
Stellar Human Resource Solutions is looking for a professional and organized Event Planner / Events Coordinator to join their team in Nairobi. The role involves managing events from start to finish, ensuring that every detail is handled professionally to meet client expectations for both corporate and social functions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate and manage all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization through to execution.
Organize various types of events, including corporate conferences, meetings, and social gatherings.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their needs and building strong relationships.
Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, vendor selection, and onsite management.
Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Resolve any issues that arise during the planning or execution phases of events.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Event Management (BA/BSc/HND holders are also eligible).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in event planning or coordination.
Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Competency: Demonstrated experience in managing both corporate and social event formats.
Interpersonal: Exceptional client management and communication skills.
