Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is a State Corporation committed to excellence in broadcast services to our audience, customers, and the public. Its aim is to inform, educate, and entertain the public through Radio and Television services. The Corporation is seeking to recruit a Technical Services Intern to join its dynamic team. This role is ideal for recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering within a large-scale broadcasting environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the maintenance and operation of broadcasting and transmission equipment.
Support the technical team in troubleshooting electronic system failures and signal issues.
Participate in the installation and configuration of light current and telecommunication systems.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and equipment logs.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols within high-voltage and transmitter environments.
Provide general technical support as required by the engineering department.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (Light Current/ Telecommunication), Higher National Diploma, or Diploma in Telecommunication (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) from a recognized Institution.
Must be computer literate.
Must be a Kenyan youth aged between 21 and 34 years.
Must have graduated from College or University not earlier than the year 2021.
