Accurex Leadership and Management Consultants Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. The successful candidate will ensure a reliable power supply, minimize downtime, and support operational efficiency across our facilities while strictly adhering to safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance
Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
Troubleshooting & Repairs
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs.
Replace defective components such as switches, wiring, and circuit breakers.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and protective gear.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with other technicians and departments to support operations.
Provide daily reports on completed tasks, issues, and recommendations.
Assist in planning upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2–4 years’ experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
Valid electrician’s license or professional certification (where applicable).
Skills and Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
High attention to detail and safety awareness.
Knowledge of energy-saving technologies.
Basic understanding of automation and control systems.
Ability to train junior staff or apprentices.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).
