The role of Teacher of Early Learning is based within Inspired Education, a leading global group of premium schools operating 121 private schools across 6 continents. Inspired Education utilizes proven educational practices from around the globe, ensuring over 95,000 students receive a world-class learning experience from Kindergarten to Year 13.
This position requires a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to manage and deliver the early learning curriculum, ensuring differentiated instruction and promoting the school's philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- Prepare a structured programme of study for each class taught with clearly stated aims and objectives and with evidence of allowing for differentiation between students of different abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans and teach individual lessons.
- Mark class work and homework and assess achievement according to agreed Faculty policy.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assimilate elements of the British National Curriculum as appropriate.
- Include in schemes of work elements of information technology in consultation with the IT department staff.
- Attend meetings, including parent consultation meetings, as required, scheduled, and/or necessary.
- Be involved in the duty rota, as scheduled.
- Ensure that the ethics of the school as expressed in the school philosophy are clearly reflected in your teaching.
- Cover for absent colleagues and invigilate examinations as required.
- Promote the image of the school.
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned to you by the Director and the Core Management Team.
