Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a structured programme of study for each class with clearly stated aims and objectives, incorporating differentiation for various student abilities.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans and deliver individual lessons effectively.
• Mark class work and homework, assessing student achievement according to Faculty policy.
• Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum, assimilating elements of the British National Curriculum.
• Integrate information technology into schemes of work in consultation with the IT department.
• Attend scheduled meetings, including parent consultation sessions.
• Participate in the school's duty rota and promote a positive school image.
• Ensure teaching reflects the school's philosophy and ethics.
• Provide cover for absent colleagues and invigilate examinations as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director and Core Management Team.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A university degree in Art or a related appropriate subject.
• Proven experience teaching within a British curriculum school at the appropriate level.
• Enthusiasm and dedication to the teaching profession.
• A passion for education, innovation, and the integration of technology in the classroom.
• Excellent classroom practitioner skills with a focus on student progress.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A positive attitude toward change and professional development.
