Job Description
BIMAS Kenya Limited, a leading microfinance institution in the country, seeks to recruit capable and result oriented individuals to fill the position of Software Development and End User Support Intern.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties:
Set up, configuration and maintenance of computers, mobiles, hardware, systems and applications.
Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Development and maintenance of software applications.
Resolving IT support requests from clients and employees.
Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed.
Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed.
Installation and maintenance of computer networks (WAN and LAN).
Ensure availability of computer systems and infrastructure.
End user support.
Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
Applicants must possess:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering (or a related IT Field or equivalent professional experience).
