Job Description
The Tana River County Assembly is seeking to recruit five (5) dedicated and skilled individuals to fill the role of ICT Officer III. This is a permanent and pensionable position, integral to maintaining and supporting the Assembly's Information Communication Technology infrastructure.
The basic salary for this position ranges from Kshs. 44,400 – Kshs. 61,110.
Duties and Responsibilities
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and networks.
Providing technical support to users and troubleshooting ICT issues.
Assisting in system administration, data security, and backup processes.
Maintaining inventory of ICT assets and equipment.
Supporting the development and maintenance of Assembly information systems.
Performing any other ICT-related duties assigned.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates interested in this position must meet the following minimum requirements:
Education: Diploma in Information Communication Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in ICT support.
Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of networking, system administration, and troubleshooting.
Certifications: Professional ICT certifications will be considered an added advantage.
Competencies: Good communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
