Job Description

The County Government of Nyeri is offering a Social Welfare & Community Development Officer Internship opportunity. This role is geared towards individuals with a background in social sciences who wish to gain hands-on experience in community mobilization, social welfare administration, and public service.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of social welfare and community development programs within the county.

Support community outreach, mobilization, and field assessments.

Help in writing reports and maintaining records related to social welfare initiatives.

Support case management and public queries under the supervision of senior officers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, or a related Social Science.
