Role Overview
Sustainet Group is seeking a Short-Term Expert focusing on Knowledge Transfer & Capacity Building in Systems Integration. Sustainet E.A. is a Non-governmental organization promoting sustainable agricultural practices in the East and Horn of Africa, with a network reaching over 1.5 million smallholder farmers. This role involves delivering specialized technical knowledge transfer, capacity building, and engineering expertise in systems integration, digital wallets, and API integrations within the agricultural domain.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate knowledge transfer and capacity building in Systems Integration.
Support backend engineering and platform operations for digital solutions targeting agricultural MSMEs and smallholders.
Facilitate API integrations and digital wallet technology adoption.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or another relevant discipline.
Language: C1-level proficiency in English.
General Professional Experience: 5 years of professional experience in systems integration, backend engineering, or platform operations.
Specific Professional Experience: 3 years of professional experience in digital wallets and integrating APIs.
Regional Experience: 3 years of experience in either Burundi, Cameroon, Colombia, Kenya, Nigeria, Peru, Uganda, Vietnam, or Tanzania.
Sector Experience: 3 years of experience working with smallholders or agricultural MSMEs.
