Key Responsibilities
Conducting assessments on Sharia compliance in all bank activities and operations to align with Sharia rulings.
Suggesting enhancements in process flow, best practices, and product features based on compliance assessments.
Training bank staff, particularly the business and financing management team, on product implementation, documentation, pricing dynamics, and processing requirements.
Reviewing communication content, promotional materials, and social media platforms for marketing to ensure alignment with Sharia principles.
Supporting the financing management department and branches to ensure financing facilities are issued according to product financing manuals and Sharia principles.
Assisting the marketing department in presenting products and propagating Islamic banking knowledge through various media.
Administering Charity and Zakat Fund activities according to manuals, which includes visiting beneficiaries and verifying applications.
Providing guidance to staff and clients on Islamic banking/financing instruments and related guidelines.
Assisting the team in developing new products and enhancing existing ones.
Preparing and reviewing financing contract packages, forms, and other necessary documents.
Conducting product performance assessments and preparing quarterly product performance reports.
Assisting the team with Fatawa management.
Assisting the team in preparing product easy guides.
Preparing training materials and managing Sharia & Products training programs.
Following up to ensure remedial actions addressing Sharia Audit findings are taken timely.
Assisting the team in the annual review of policies and manuals.
Assisting the team in managing Charity funds.
The role reports directly to the Sharia and Products Manager.
