Role Purpose
The Senior Research Executive is required to deliver daily prompt analysis of data to client stakeholders, ensuring their specific business needs are met with precision and insight.
Main Responsibilities
Client Satisfaction: Drive satisfaction by providing actionable recommendations during reporting, presentations, and business reviews. Deliver value-added analyses and respond to special client requests.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain ongoing relationships with identified key personnel within the client organization.
Strategic Liaison: Work daily with senior management to identify their needs, recommending and delivering analyses that exceed their expectations and understanding.
Process Improvement: Continuously recommend improvements in work processes within the assigned area of responsibility.
Knowledge and Skills
Data Measurement: Strong understanding of measurement data to enable meaningful conversations with stakeholders and ensure accurate representation in reporting.
Statistical Proficiency: Knowledge of statistics and multivariate analysis.
Technical Understanding: Ability to understand technical aspects of the modeling process for internal and client discussions.
Analytical Tools: Experienced with tools for complex data extraction.
Communication: Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills; ability to influence and persuade.
Insight Generation: Ability to analyze and interpret data in a challenging and insightful manner.
Storytelling: Excellent presentation development skills to creatively bring data to life through storytelling.
Crisis Management: Displays maturity and creative problem-solving skills when handling crises.
Multi-cultural Competence: Able to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience and proven success within Consumer or Market research (quantitative research experience is essential; qualitative is an advantage).
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Strong analysis skills and a track record of insight generation.
Knowledge of custom research principles, methodologies, and statistical techniques.
Basic business understanding, including terminology such as revenue, profit, loss, and margin.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (or Google Slides and Google Sheets).
Previous experience with FMCG, T&D, Retail, or the market research industry is a major advantage.
Knowledge of NielsenIQ/GfK data and systems is considered a significant advantage.
