Jubilee Insurance is seeking a Senior Medical Claims Manager to oversee and manage the medical claims department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in a high-volume claims environment, implementing fraud prevention measures, and maintaining compliance with healthcare industry practices and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end medical claims management process.
Ensure high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in the processing of claims within a high-volume environment.
Implement and manage effective fraud prevention and detection measures to protect company interests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare industry practices, insurance policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure departmental compliance.
Manage and lead the claims team to meet organizational objectives and service level agreements.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or equivalent.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically focused on claims management.
Certifications: Additional certifications in claims management, insurance, or related fields are highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies
In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry practices and insurance policies.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the insurance sector.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven expertise in fraud prevention and detection.
Leadership and team management capabilities.
