As a Senior Finance Officer – Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and providing actionable business insights to support decision-making processes within the bank.
Responsibilities
Prepare Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) regulatory reports, management accounts, and board packs.
Drive variance analysis and deliver data-driven business insights to support leadership.
Oversee General Ledger (GL) reconciliations, bank placements, and fixed asset management.
Ensure full tax compliance and provide necessary support during internal and external audit processes.
Process supplier payments and maintain financial records with high levels of precision.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field.
Full CPA qualification is mandatory.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
At least 1 year of specific experience within the Banking sector.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability as a team player who upholds the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.
