The Senior Enforcement and Compliance Officer is responsible for enforcing various County laws and other relevant acts to ensure order, sanity, and compliance within the county. This role involves coordinating field patrols, managing traffic marshals, and overseeing the legal transition of enforcement cases through the scrutiny of charge sheets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Enforcing various County laws and other relevant legislative acts as prescribed by the County Government.
Coordinating regular patrols in parking areas to ensure orderly parking and effective traffic management.
Maintaining County laws, sanity, and order within markets and other business premises.
Coordinating and performing the duties of traffic marshals to ensure the smooth flow of transport and public safety.
Overseeing the cleanliness and general orderliness of the assigned station of duty.
Receiving and scrutinizing charge sheets from investigation officers to ensure they meet legal standards for prosecution.
Requirements for Appointment
Served in the grade of Enforcement and Compliance Officer I or a comparable position in the Public or private sector for a minimum period of three (3) years.
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Security Management, Criminology and Fraud Management, Criminology and Security Studies, Environmental Science, Law, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Certificate in specialized training in Prosecution and Investigation Skills from a recognized institution.
Physical fitness as applicable to the Kenya Police Force standards.
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
Certificate in computer applications.
Remuneration
Salary Scale (CPSB 08): Ksh. 46,120 х 1,920 - 48,040 х 2,000 - 50,040 х 2,290 - 52,330 х 2,350 - 54,680 х 2,550 - 57,230 х 2,850 - 60,080 х 2,850 - 62,930 х 2,930 - 65,860 pm.
