Job Description
The role of the Sales & Marketing Manager, reporting to the Country Manager, is to drive growth, build strong client partnerships, and position the client company in Tanzania as the go-to creative partner for brands.
Key Outputs
Deliver consistent revenue growth by meeting and exceeding agreed sales targets.
Acquire new clients while strengthening relationships to ensure long-term retention and account growth.
Enhance the company

s market visibility through impactful marketing campaigns, partnerships, and industry presence.
Ensure operational excellence by delivering pitches, campaigns, and activations on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Provide accurate forecasts and performance reports with clear insights and recommendations for management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across brands, agencies, and partners.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and long-term growth.
Lead the preparation and delivery of pitches, proposals, and negotiations.
Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets through structured pipeline management.
2. Marketing & Brand Growth
Develop and execute marketing strategies to strengthen the company
s presence in the market of Tanzania.
Stay plugged into cultural trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to keep the company relevant.
Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and thoughtleadership platforms.
Collaborate with regional teams to align campaigns, share insights, and amplify the company
s brand.
3. Operational & Team Collaboration
Work closely with creative, production, and client service teams to ensure excellent project delivery.
Manage budgets, timelines, and reporting for sales and marketing activities.
Ensure a seamless link between client expectations, internal execution, and delivery excellence.
4. Reporting & Accountability
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance dashboards.
Track ROI on marketing initiatives and recommend improvements where needed.
Provide regular updates to senior management with insights and strategic recommendations.
Ensure compliance with the company
s sales processes, standards, and ethical practices.
Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years
care experience in sales, marketing, or business development (preferably in brand, media, or agency environments).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts.
Strong financial awareness; comfortable with budgets, margins, and forecasting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to connect with clients.
A self-starter with grit, drive, and ambition to grow the clients company in the Tanzanian market.
