Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Marketing Lead who will play a vital role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives within the Manufacturing - building materials sector. The role focuses on generating leads, securing projects, strengthening brand visibility, managing client relationships, and positioning the company competitively in the construction and infrastructure market.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and project acquisition targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
Project & Bid Management: Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders for construction-related projects. Identify relevant tenders, coordinate technical and commercial proposal preparation, and ensure timely submission and compliance.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Marketing & Brand Visibility: Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives. Promote products and services through digital and traditional channels. Oversee company website, social media, and marketing materials (brochures, catalogs, project portfolios).
Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and developers. Handle key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Market Intelligence: Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Monitor pricing trends and market demand to provide strategic insights to management.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the sales and marketing team, setting KPIs and monitoring performance. Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior staff.
Internal Collaboration: Liaise with technical, procurement, and finance teams during bid preparation and collaborate with operations and production to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing, training, or a related business development role.
A strong understanding of the Manufacturing - building materials sector and market dynamics is an added advantage.
