Job Description
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading restaurant chain in Nairobi, for a Restaurant Supervisor (Shift Leader).
The ideal candidate should be experienced in supervising restaurant operations during assigned shifts while ensuring smooth workflow, excellent customer service, and proper staff coordination within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise restaurant staff during assigned shifts
Ensure smooth daily restaurant operations and service delivery
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance
Support customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
Ensure compliance with hygiene and operational standards
Coordinate food service and communication between departments
Assist in stock monitoring and operational reporting
Support implementation of company procedures and service standards
Train and guide junior staff where necessary
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory role within a busy restaurant
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage shift operations effectively
