Role Overview\n\nMarriott International, Inc. is seeking a Reservations Supervisor to oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. This role involves managing the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring efficient procedures, and maintaining high service standards in line with company values.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n- Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. Review and implement new Reservations procedures.\n- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types.\n- Verify availability of room types and rates; explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.\n- Follow sales techniques to maximize property revenue. Answer questions about property facilities, services, and accommodations.\n- Input and access data in the reservation system. Respond to challenges for accommodating rooming requests.\n- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues or escalate to appropriate individuals as necessary.\n- Communicate company values and culture to new employees. Accommodate and document special guest requests.\n- Set up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n\n- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related course of study.\n- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in reservations.\n- At least 2 years of experience specifically within a 5-star hotel environment is preferred.\n- Proficiency in reservation systems, strong sales techniques, and excellent troubleshooting abilities.\n\n### How to Apply\n\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply via the Marriott careers portal:
