Relationship Manager, Sahl - Takaba Branch

Key Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Lead and manage customer relations for both corporate and retail segments within the Sahl (Islamic Banking) portfolio.
• Sales and Business Growth: Drive the sale of Shari’ah-compliant products and perform cross-selling of other bank products to achieve set targets for both assets and liabilities.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Relationship teams and the retail branch network to expand the business.
• Risk and Compliance: Implement risk management strategies to mitigate losses, specifically focusing on fraud prevention and revenue leakage. Ensure proper documentation and administration of Shari’ah-compliant portfolios.
• Portfolio Management: Manage Portfolio at Risk (PAR) according to set targets and maintain the health of the Sahl book.
• Staff Development: Responsible for the training and development of branch staff regarding Shari’ah-compliant products.
• Customer Service: Monitor and manage customer complaints and review service delivery standards to ensure consistent maintenance of the highest service levels.

Requirements and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
• Islamic Banking Certification is considered an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of general work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in Banking Operations.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically in Sharia Banking.
• At least 2 years of experience in Credit management.
• At least 2 years of experience in Sales and Relationship Management.
