Job Description
The Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET), formerly Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC), is a government institution under the Ministry of Education, State Department of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). It was established with the primary objective of training technically skilled personnel for teaching in technical institutions and employment. The school is seeking a Registered Nurse II to join its medical department and provide essential healthcare services.
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care and medical support to the students and staff of the institution.
Monitor patient health status and provide clinical interventions where necessary.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid support.
Promote health and wellness initiatives within the KSTVET community.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or a Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Possession of a valid practicing license is required.
