Job Description
AIC Kijabe Hospital is seeking a specialized Plastic Surgeon Consultant to join its multi-specialty medical team. As a level 6B National Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital, the facility serves a diverse patient population from across Kenya and neighboring countries. The successful candidate will provide expert surgical intervention and specialized care in plastic and reconstructive surgery within this faith-based clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Provide expert consultant-level plastic and reconstructive surgical services to patients.
Manage complex surgical cases and oversee patient recovery and follow-up care.
Contribute to the clinical leadership and teaching mission of the hospital as a referral facility.
Ensure high standards of medical ethics and patient safety in alignment with hospital protocols.
Collaborate with other medical specialists in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient treatment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic Background: Must hold a Master’s degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Professional Degree: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB).
Registration: Must be duly registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Licensing: Possession of a valid private practicing license is mandatory.
