Regional Sales Executives

Tanzania Empowerment Forum Limited (TEF Consult) is recruiting on behalf of its client, d.light, a global leader in solar energy solutions dedicated to expanding clean, affordable, and reliable off-grid power access in Tanzania. The organization is seeking dynamic and goal-oriented Regional Sales Executives to lead sales operations and market expansion for d.light ormal's PAYGO and portable solar products in Mbeya, Morogoro, Njombe, Manyara, and Arusha regions.

This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel, ideal for experienced sales professionals passionate about driving growth, managing retail networks, and building meaningful customer relationships that empower communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales growth and community outreach through direct engagement and Experience Centers.
• Recruit, train, and manage sales agents to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
• Maintain 95%+ stock availability across retail outlets.
• Activate new sales channels such as schools, SACCOs, MFIs, NGOs, and farmer groups.
• Provide regular market insights and performance reports.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and service support.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or higher in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• 2–3 years in sales, preferably in FMCG, renewable energy, telecom, or PAYGO sectors.
• Experience in rural/semi-rural markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with solar or off-grid solutions is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proficiency in mobile reporting and data handling.
• Must be self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
