International Transformation Foundation (ITF) is a youth-led non-profit organization providing youth educational and self-development programs encompassing leadership and entrepreneurship. The main role of the Public Relations - Corporate Communications officer is to maintain the company's brand and image through various communication activities, including events, media appearances, press releases, and employee training.
Key Responsibilities
Creating Content
- Write original content that portrays ITF in the best possible light.
- Compile and maintain records of ITF communications with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create written content, videos, and photography.
- Liaise with the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to ensure content is evidence-based and accurate.
Publishing Content
- Publish and distribute content to maintain a vibrant online and offline presence.
- Work with the digital team to post regularly on ITF’s official social media platforms.
- Design and manage ITF website content, including success stories, testimonials, and picture archives.
- Ensure all disseminated information complies with ITF’s privacy guidelines.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with outside stakeholders.
- Serve as the public point of contact (subject to Secretary General approval).
- Ensure the internal team is aligned with the external communication messages.
- Manage ITF’s reputation and handle the dissemination of public documents like annual reports and blog posts.
Fundraising
- Work with the Account Assistant, resource mobilizer, and Secretary General to generate project funding.
- Maintain engagement with existing supporters through personalized emails and impact reports.
- Expand the supporter base through structured fundraising appeals.
Requirements and Skills
- At least a Bachelor's Degree (or current student) in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Editing, or related fields.
- Knowledge of current issues and best practices in international youth development.
- Creative ability to develop content for promotional materials and fundraising.
- Skills in identifying funding opportunities and writing grant proposals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for multicultural environments.
- Basic computer skills, including graphic communication and social media management.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- High level of motivation to learn and take on new challenges.
- Willingness and capacity to volunteer; for volunteers, a minimum of six months commitment is required.
