Job Description
The Manager – Digital Communication & Production is responsible for developing and executing the Kenya Revenue Authority's (KRA) digital communication strategy and overseeing multimedia production. This role aims to enhance brand visibility, public engagement, and reputation management through strategic digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the digital communication strategy for the Authority.
Platform Management: Oversee the management of digital platforms, including official social media accounts and the corporate website.
Content Creation: Lead the production of multimedia content, such as videos, animations, podcasts, and documentaries.
Digital Marketing: Manage SEO, SEM, and various digital advertising campaigns while analyzing performance metrics to provide insights.
Financial & Relationship Management: Oversee digital communication budgets and manage partnerships with external service providers.
Operational Excellence: Implement corporate initiatives within the Unit, including Performance Management, Audit, Integrity, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Risk Management.
Team Leadership: Support staff career development and ensure performance enhancement within the unit, aligning with departmental objectives.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or Digital Communication from a recognized University.
Post-Graduate Qualification: A Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or Digital Communication from a recognized University is an added advantage.
Professional Membership: Membership with CIPR, MSK, CIM, PRSK, KIM, or a related professional body.
Leadership Training: Completion of a leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
Professional Experience: A cumulative service period of five (5) years of relevant work experience, with at least two (2) years in a first-level management position or comparable role.

Creative ability to supervise communication strategies.
Ability to work across departments and organizations in a collaborative manner.
