Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager at Orthomedics & Pharmaceuticals is responsible for overseeing the company-wide sourcing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management. This is a crucial role focused on maintaining stock integrity, ensuring seamless operations, and guaranteeing compliance with regulatory bodies.

This position is offered on a one-year contract term, renewable based on performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and Negotiation: Oversee company-wide sourcing and conduct effective supplier negotiations.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Manage import clearances and ensure strict regulatory compliance, particularly with relevant bodies such as KRA (Kenya Revenue Authority) and PPB (Pharmacy and Poisons Board).
4. Operational Support: Facilitate a procurement committee and manage the settlement of utilities to ensure seamless branch operations.
5. Accountability and Reporting: Maintain full accountability for stock integrity and provide transparent reporting to management on all procurement and inventory matters.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field is required.
