Job Description
Embu County Government is seeking to recruit a qualified individual for the position of Physical Planner I. The successful candidate will be responsible for land use planning and ensuring the orderly development of the county's urban and rural spaces. This role involves the preparation of development plans, processing development applications, and ensuring compliance with planning standards.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing local physical and land use development plans.
Reviewing and processing development applications for approval.
Conducting site inspections and monitoring development projects for compliance.
Collecting and analyzing data for urban and regional planning projects.
Liaising with stakeholders on land use and physical planning matters.
Requirements and Qualifications
Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Must attach a National Identity Card.
Must attach Academic and Professional Certificates and Testimonials.
Any other relevant supporting documents.
