We are currently seeking a Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team in Nairobi.
Responsibilities
While specific duties are centered around pharmaceutical care, the role generally involves:
Dispensing medications and ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions.
Providing professional pharmaceutical advice to patients and customers.
Managing pharmacy inventory and ensuring proper storage of drugs.
Offering specialized knowledge in cosmetics and nutraceuticals to enhance customer experience.
Adhering to all regulatory standards set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Professional Registration: Must have valid enrollment with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a busy pharmacy environment.
Specialized Knowledge: Proficiency or knowledge in Cosmetics and Nutraceuticals is an added advantage.
