Ever since its genesis, Pharmaplus has emerged to be one of the best pharmaceutical companies in Kenya, providing employment for over 180 staff. The company is currently seeking a qualified Pharmaceutical Technologist for its Mombasa operations.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day pharmaceutical operations in a busy pharmacy environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services and products to customers.
Responsibilities
Accurately dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Providing professional counseling to patients regarding drug usage, dosage, and side effects.
Maintaining pharmaceutical records and ensuring compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations.
Advising customers on cosmetics and nutraceutical products.
Managing inventory and ensuring proper storage of medicines.
Requirements
Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
Valid enrollment/license with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a busy pharmacy.
Knowledge of Cosmetics and Nutraceuticals is an added advantage.
