At UR HOME, we pride ourselves on committing to ensure the products offered meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. We are looking for an Outdoor Sales Representative to join our team. The job holder will be responsible for achieving sales volume and value targets, driving market share, and activating targeted accounts. The role involves trade and channel development, as well as managing and servicing existing outlets while prospecting and developing new accounts with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and increasing sales revenue.
Responsibilities
Achieve set secondary sales targets (volume and value) by strictly adhering to set journey plans to deliver maximum distribution of our products at the retail end.
Ensure quality execution of the sales drivers: availability, affordability, accessibility, and activation.
Ensure distribution is achieved in the assigned territory through achieving set customer call rate coverage targets, number of new outlets, as well as expansion of portfolio availability.
Ensure up-selling (value brands) and cross-selling of the portfolio as well as building standard stock cover.
Solve arising customer problems and sell company products effectively.
Achieve merchandising objectives as per set segment standards both in the cold and ambient space.
Identify, negotiate, plan, and execute activation opportunities such as promotions and tastings with customers in line with the territory sales plan.
Pro-actively manage the cash and credit resources of the customer to drive growth for our brands in terms of volume and value.
Monitor and manage company assets such as vehicles within our policies and procedures to ensure optimal use.
Receive, follow up, and resolve all customer queries and complaints in collaboration with the customer service team in an efficient manner.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the territory manager to facilitate proper planning.
Gather market intelligence and communicate the same to management to enhance business performance.
Requirements
A minimum degree in Sales & Marketing (strictly Sales and Marketing) from a reputable institution.
At least 3 years of experience, preferably handling electronics i.e., TV, Hoofers, microwaves, kettles, and heaters.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Proficiency in customer relationship management.
Ability to work in an extremely high-pressure, high-accountability environment.
Well-conversant with Nairobi and its environs.
2 years of experience in driving with a valid license is an added advantage.
