Job Description
Reeds Africa Consult (RAC) is seeking an Office Manager to oversee operations at Blue Violets Plaza. The primary focus of this role is to drive revenue through the management of meeting rooms and parking spaces, while ensuring a high standard of facility maintenance and customer satisfaction. The Office Manager will be responsible for sales promotion, revenue protection through daily reconciliations, and budgeting for the facility's operations.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
Drive revenue growth to meet established goals and ensure acceptable returns.
Actively sell products and services related to the facility's meeting rooms.
Manage and sell parking spaces within Blue Violets Plaza.
Monitor the quality and growth of different revenue streams.
Identify opportunities to improve overall productivity and profitability.
Revenue Generation Planning
Develop and monitor the implementation of revenue generation plans.
Create and distribute sales promotion materials covering marketing and financial aspects.
Prioritize sales activities to align with company goals.
Continuously review revenue streams and propose improvements.
Analyze performance versus plans and implement corrective actions as needed.
Revenue Protection
Ensure timely collection of all company revenue.
Perform daily reconciliations of all receipts and banking activities.
Focus on continuous improvement in profitability for each revenue stream.
Ensure all staff members understand and comply with commercial policies.
Customer Experience & Facility Management
Maintain meeting rooms in clean, orderly, and professional conditions.
Ensure all equipment in the meeting rooms is functional and well-maintained.
Focus on maximizing the customer experience and resolving complaints promptly.
Maintain a detailed log of complaints, incidents, and compliments, ensuring requisite corrective actions are taken.
Budgeting
Formulate and monitor operational budgets for revenue and cost streams.
Identify and formulate capital budget requirements.
Review budgetary performance regularly and prepare comparative reports for the Directors.
Propose and implement measures to address budget variances.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in office management, sales, revenue generation, or commercial operations.
Strong skills in financial management and budgeting.
Experience in people management and team leadership.
Demonstrated ability in sales, negotiation, and customer service.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business management software.
