Job Description
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Mission Home Attendant to manage custodial duties and facility maintenance. The role involves ensuring the mission home is clean, secure, and well-maintained through professional cleaning procedures and equipment operation.
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning and custodial tasks using appropriate supplies and techniques.
Operate specialized facility equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and vacuums.
Execute physically demanding activities including lifting items up to 50 lbs., pushing loaded carts, bending, crawling, and reaching.
Adhere to building security and safety protocols.
Communicate effectively in English for general interaction, video training, and understanding of safety instructions.
Follow instructions provided in both verbal and written form and ask clarifying questions as necessary.
Complete mandatory safety and equipment usage training.
Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND).
Thorough understanding of custodial procedures, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
Demonstrated ability to operate industrial cleaning machinery.
Physical capacity for heavy lifting and manual labor.
Strong proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for communication and training purposes.
