Job Description
The Baobab Beach Resort and Spa is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the F&B Manager in daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring operational efficiency across all resort outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the daily operations of all outlets.
Service Standards: Maintain and elevate service standards across all dining and bar outlets.
Staff Leadership: Oversee staff scheduling, lead daily briefings, and manage staff training initiatives.
Quality Control: Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards and monitor buffet presentation and service quality.
Revenue Generation: Drive ala carte sales and focus on guest satisfaction to increase revenue.
Efficiency & Maintenance: Manage stock control and operational efficiency while ensuring all equipment is well-maintained and functional.
Candidate Profile
Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a 4-Star hotel or resort.
Specialized Knowledge: Experience in an All-Inclusive (AI) resort environment is an added advantage.
Skills: Strong leadership, team management, and organizational abilities.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with a professional, proactive, and service-driven attitude.
