Key Responsibilities (Inferred)
As a Medical Officer, core duties are expected to include:
Providing clinical diagnosis and management for patients attending the hospital.
Conducting daily patient rounds and ensuring comprehensive continuity of care.
Performing routine and minor surgical procedures within the stipulated scope of practice.
Ordering, interpreting, and following up on diagnostic and laboratory tests.
Referring patients to specialized care when appropriate.
Maintaining accurate, complete, and strictly confidential medical records.
Participating actively in continuous medical education and quality assurance programs.
Contributing to community health outreach and preventative medicine initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant medical degree (BA/BSc/HND, implied Medical Officer qualification).
Must be an experienced healthcare professional.
Demonstrated high levels of compassion and empathy towards patients.
Strong passion and commitment toward improving community health outcomes.
