This is a contract hybrid role based in Juja, Kiambu, allowing for a combination of on-site work and remote tasks.
Yatta Beekeepers supports local farmers to produce pure, high quality honey by manufacturing modern beehives that are affordable and efficient in honey production. To their customers, the company offers efficient beehive manufacturing processes with the capacity of mass production of high-quality beehives produced with multi-functional integrated parts.
Role and Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant include:
- Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Engaging effectively with customers.
- Providing excellent customer service and a customer-centric approach.
- Supporting sales and marketing efforts to drive business growth.
- Effective communication with clients and team members to help achieve business goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- A diploma or degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, or Communication) is preferred.
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in Market Research.
- Experience in Customer Service and a customer-centric approach.
- Sales and Sales & Marketing expertise.
- Ability to work effectively in hybrid settings, balancing on-site and remote tasks.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with the beekeeping industry or an interest in environmental conservation is a plus.
