As a Relationship Manager for Energy & Infrastructure at Standard Bank Group, you will be responsible for growing and retaining client relationships within the allocated segment/sector portfolio, with a specific focus on the oil and gas sector. The role involves executing segment-specific offerings, initiatives, and activities to optimize both the client experience and the bank’s overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Grow and retain client relationships within the allocated Energy & Infrastructure portfolio.
Execute the segment/sector offering and utilize related toolkits to drive growth.
Implement initiatives and activities designed to optimize client experience and enhance bank profitability.
Conduct comprehensive client financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
Prepare and motivate Credit applications to facilitate client needs.
Manage cost control measures within the portfolio.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A First Degree in Business Commerce or any other related field.
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the banking sector.
Proven relationship management experience as a Business Banker or Relationship Manager.
Extensive experience in dealing with customers at all levels of an organization.
Significant product knowledge, including specialized banking products and complex financial structures.
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and client financial analysis.
Essential experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications.
