This role involves serving as a Brand Champion and steward within Rose Avenue Consulting Group (RACG). The Manager, Brand & Events is responsible for developing and executing brand plans, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, and managing both internal and external brand perceptions to position the organization as an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy: Develop brand plans aligned with corporate brand image, promise, values, and guidelines.
- Brand Stewardship: Assess brand perception among key stakeholders and act as a brand steward.
- Consistency Management: Oversee brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, including branches, agents, ATMs, and digital platforms.
- Messaging & Positioning: Align brand messaging to position the organization as an award-winning thought leader in the industry.
- Internal Culture: Manage internal brand image to foster a positive brand culture; appoint and train brand champions across outlets to ensure consistent communication.
- Initiatives & Engagement: Develop and implement brand initiatives and drive internal engagement initiatives to strengthen brand culture.
- Collateral & Visibility: Develop and manage brand collateral in line with guidelines; ensure visibility tools comply with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Identify and manage vendor partnerships to deliver collateral in line with procurement guidelines; prepare and manage the annual brand budget.
- Strategic Perception: Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand perception.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Professional qualification in CIM is required.
- Master’s degree in a business-related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing/brand management.
- Strong experience in strategy formulation and execution.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability.
- Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and execution of annual brand plans.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to make timely, effective decisions and take accountability.
- Resilience and emotional maturity in managing strategic and operational challenges.
