The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is recruiting eighty-five (85) Legal Researchers to provide high-level legal research and support to judicial officers, ensuring the efficient delivery of justice. These positions are offered on a five (5) year renewable contract basis, subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level legal research and support to judicial officers.
Analyze case files and summarize pleadings for judicial decision-making.
Draft legal opinions and research memos on complex legal issues.
Assist in the preparation of rulings and judgments.
Stay updated on legislative changes and emerging case law precedents.

Remuneration: Gross Salary Scale: Min. Kshs 189,534 - Max Kshs 232,164 per month.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized University.
Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.
A Post Graduate Diploma in Law.
At least one (1) year of post-admission qualification experience.
Active membership in the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
Proficiency in computer applications.
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
A Senior Management Course or its equivalent will be an added advantage.
