We are seeking a Laboratory Intern for our Beverages division in Nairobi to support lab operations and product development.
Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining inventory in the lab by managing stock of chemical reagents and supplies.
Support the preparation of raw materials and samples for R&D trials, shelf-life studies, and customer evaluations.
Participate in maintaining hygiene in the lab by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace, including cleaning equipment.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
Participate in sample evaluation.
Handling sample dispatch process.
Support in product development.
Support in any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Currently enrolled (final year) or recently completed a Bachelor of Science or science-related degree.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to details.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to commit for at least 6 months.
