Kiswahili & Creatives Arts Teacher

Mirema School, a Christian-based primary school offering the 2.6.6.3/8.4.4 curriculum, International British Curriculum, and Special Needs Curriculum, is seeking a qualified teacher to instruct Kiswahili and Creatives Arts at the middle school level.

Responsibilities

• Teach fun and creative lessons in art, music, or drama that follow the national curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities to help children learn creative skills.
• Help pupils explore their talents and express themselves in different artistic ways.
• Use different teaching methods to support all participants, no matter their learning style or skill level.
• Work with other teachers to plan integrated projects.
• Organize art displays, shows, or performances where learners share their work.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Primary Teacher Education, with relevant subject area specialization.
• At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Valid TSC registration Number.
• Valid certificate of good conduct.
