Role Overview\n\nThe County Government of Nyeri is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Internal Auditor I. The role involves executing audit programs, reviewing internal control systems, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of records and reports for Nyeri County.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n\n* Executing audit programmes.\n* Collecting audit evidence on major issues.\n* Reviewing internal control systems in operation; verifying the existence and safety of Government assets.\n* Preparation of draft reports and holding discussions with the clients.\n* Reviewing budgetary controls on the issuance of authority to incur expenditure and commitments.\n* Ensuring completeness and accuracy of records and reports.\n* Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\n\n* Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID).\n* KCPE and KCSE Certificate (Attach certificates).\n* Have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce/business administration (Accounting or Finance option).\n* Be in possession of Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Part III or its recognized equivalent qualifications.\n* Be a registered member of ICPAK.\n* Relevant experience of two years and above (Attach evidence).
