Intern, Membership Communications

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and dissemination of Membership Quarterly newsletters and success stories.
• Create 'Member Spotlights' for new members and highlight ongoing member initiatives.
• Support social media management and develop website content that showcases member projects and impacts.
• Assist in the development of comprehensive ESARO member profiles at both regional and country levels.
• Provide communication support for regional membership events and webinars.
• Produce multimedia content, including short videos, photo stories, and blogs that highlight member impact.
• Collect and synthesize stories and updates from members for various communication channels.
• Liaise with the broader IUCN Communications team to ensure all output aligns with the IUCN brand and messaging standards.
• Prepare quarterly reports on membership communications activities and performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the membership and communications team.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
• Experience: Practical experience with social media management and content creation.
• Recency: Candidates should have completed their university education within the last 2 years.
