Job Description
Dimkes Sacco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICT Graduate Trainee to join its technical team. This role is designed for fresh graduates to gain comprehensive exposure to ICT operations within a licensed financial institution. The trainee will work under supervision to support the Sacco's ICT infrastructure, maintain system availability, and ensure robust security and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Maintenance
Provide first-line and second-line ICT support to staff and users under supervision.
Assist in monitoring the performance and availability of networks, servers, databases, and applications.
Participate in routine system maintenance, backups, and health checks.
Support backup verification, log reviews, and basic incident documentation.
System Deployment & Administration
Support installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of ICT systems and end-user devices.
Assist in workstation setup, system access provisioning, and basic network administration.
Participate in ICT improvement initiatives, automation tasks, and research.
Security & Compliance
Assist in enforcing ICT security policies, procedures, and access controls.
Support user account management, password controls, and access reviews under supervision.
Assist in monitoring security events, antivirus updates, and system patch compliance.
Comply with data protection, confidentiality, and acceptable use requirements.
Documentation & Audits
Support ICT asset management, inventory updates, and documentation.
Assist in the documentation of procedures, user guides, and operational manuals.
Support ICT audits, SASRA inspections, and ISO evidence preparation.
Training
Participate in structured ICT training, mentorship, and skills development programs.
Provide basic user training and awareness on approved ICT systems.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (completed or recently completed) in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Experience
Fresh graduate from university (Entry-level).

Statutory Requirements
Successful candidates must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
