Job Description
Role Overview
The Human Resource Management Officer II is responsible for the implementation of Human Resource strategies, standards, policies, procedures, guidelines, Labour laws, and other relevant laws. The role aims to ensure effective and efficient achievement of human resource objectives towards the realization of the Authority’s mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Process employee recruitment, promotion, and exit documents.
Submit approved online job advertisements for posting on the Authority's website.
Draft and verify routine correspondences.
Collate and analyze training applications.
Process leave applications, sick sheets, and sick-offs.
Update staff medical details, Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) records.
Maintain complement control.
Collate data on work environment and employees’ satisfaction surveys.
Prepare periodic progress reports.
Update human resource databases and records.
Prepare induction for new staff and interns.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Public Administration, Sociology, Business Administration or its equivalent from a recognized institution plus a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management or Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) Course from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
