HR Intern

Role Overview

The HR Intern will provide professional support across the employee life cycle, assisting with administrative tasks, recruitment coordination, and employee support to ensure efficient HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• HR Administration: Maintain and update accurate employee records to ensure data integrity.
• Recruitment Coordination: Post job advertisements, coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, and assist with background checks.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare employment contracts and offer letters; facilitate new hire orientation sessions and exit interviews.
• Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and leave management.
• Payroll Preparation: Support the payroll team by collating timesheets, leave balances, and variable pay inputs.
• Benefits Administration: Assist employees with enrollment questions and liaise with benefits vendors as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A Degree or Diploma in Human Resources.
• Working towards or holding a CHRP designation (Certified Human Resources Professional) is considered an asset.
• 1–2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role (internship experience counts).
