HR Officer

Job Purpose

The HR Officer will help clients leverage their greatest assets—their people—to capture more opportunities and grow their businesses. This involves providing strategic HR support, ensuring compliance, and managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle for various client accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary HR point of contact for client organizations and build strong, professional partnerships with client leadership.
• HR Audits & Compliance: Conduct thorough HR audits and compliance reviews, preparing actionable recommendations to ensure clients meet all legal standards.
• Recruitment: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for client roles, from sourcing to final selection.
• Employee Engagement & Performance: Oversee onboarding processes, implement performance management systems, and drive employee engagement initiatives.
• Labor Relations: Handle employee relations matters professionally and in strict accordance with Kenyan labor laws.
• Compensation & Payroll: Support payroll alignment, conduct compensation benchmarking, and ensure all statutory remittances are handled timely.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in Human Resources, ideally with exposure to HR consulting.
• Professional Membership: Mandatory IHRM membership is required.
• Certifications: CHRP qualification is considered a significant advantage.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and compliance frameworks.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, advisory, and relationship management skills.
