Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control: Inspect all vacant rooms, checkouts, and departures daily to ensure cleanliness aligns with hotel and A la Carte standards. Ensure rooms are ready at least 2 hours before group arrivals.
• Team Leadership: Lead daily housekeeping briefings and monthly meetings. Monitor team performance, conduct appraisals, and provide coaching and training to improve standards.
• Operational Management: Coordinate with Front Office supervisors for room status updates and discrepancy reports. Allocate room attendants efficiently between hotel rooms and residences.
• Guest Satisfaction: Handle and resolve guest complaints promptly. Ensure the team uses guest names and maintains polite, professional communication.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to and enforce policies regarding Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
• Revenue & Sales: Maintain a sales-focused attitude, training the team to identify and execute upselling opportunities for resident services.
• Maintenance: Report damages and maintenance needs to the Executive Housekeeper and Engineering Coordinator.

Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Experience: Previous work experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
• Attributes: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high hospitality standards.
