Soroi Collection, a leading brand of eco-luxury camps and lodges, is expanding its footprint and seeking a professionally qualified Head of Security. We are looking for self-motivated and passionate individuals to join our team as we prepare to open new units in Samburu, Amboseli, and Diani. The Head of Security will be responsible for overseeing all security operations, ensuring the safety of guests and staff, and maintaining the high standards of guest experience that define our brand.
Role Overview
This position involves managing security across several high-end luxury properties, including:
Soroi Samburu Lodge (Samburu National Reserve)
Soroi Laimara Amboseli (Amboseli National Reserve)
Soroi Blue (Diani-Coastal region)
Responsibilities and Duties
Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies for remote luxury lodges.
Overseeing on-site security teams and coordinating their training and schedules.
Conducting regular risk assessments and security audits to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of international guests and resident staff.
Maintaining effective communication with local law enforcement and community leaders.
Managing emergency response situations and crisis protocols.
Liaising with local communities to ensure integrated security efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
Professional Training: Certified qualifications in security management, intelligence, or related disciplines.
Passion for Hospitality: A strong commitment to providing a safe yet welcoming environment for guests.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams in diverse and sometimes remote locations.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external partners.
